For the past 20 years I have been a proud resident of Coquitlam-Port Coquitlam, it’s where I chose to raise my family, this community supported me when I was a small business owner, and I’m honoured to serve you.

I am committed to being your voice in Ottawa: I have an open-door policy, if you’d like to meet with me, just let me know. I am connected to our community through my work on the Evergreen Cultural Centre Board (past), and as a member of the Tri-Cities Chamber of Commerce, Tri-Cities Friends of Refugees, Amnesty International and the Tri-Cities Homelessness & Housing Task Group. I’ll always be focused on our community, so I am able and available to hear your voice, and bring your concerns to Ottawa.

Since being your Member of Parliament, I work hard to ensure our community gets its share of federal dollars. I’m proud that our government has put millions of dollars in our community through the Building Communities through Arts and Heritage Program providing:

• $12,000 for the City of Port Coquitlam’s 2019 May Day Celebration;
• $23,292 for the 2018 Quilter’s Connections Magazine;
• $27,000 for the City of Coquitlam’s 2018 Canada Day Celebration;
• $9,500 for the City of Port Coquitlam’s 2018 Canada Day Celebration;
• $8,200 for the City of Port Coquitlam’s 2018 May Day Celebration;
• $22,065 for the 2017 Quilter’s Connections Magazine;
• $27,000 for the City of Coquitlam’s 2017 Canada Day Celebration;
• $9,500 for the City of Port Coquitlam’s 2017 Canada Day Celebration;
• $9,500 for the City of Port Coquitlam’s 2017 May Day Celebration;
• $600 for the North Fraser Pretrial Centre’s 2017 Aboriginal Day;
• $12,900 for the City of Port Coquitlam’s 2016 May Day Celebration;
• $15,820 for the 2016 Quilter’s Connections Magazine;
• $12.5 million for the City of Port Coquitlam’s new recreation facility. The project launched in 2016 and includes expanded ice rinks, a pool, a new seniors’ centre, and a two-story library.

As your Member of Parliament, I…

• Am your voice in Ottawa on issues such as the Kinder-Morgan Pipeline, the opioid crisis, and ending open net-salmon farming.
• Meet quarterly with all levels of government in our community, including municipal mayors and city councilors, and the Kwikwetlem First Nation.
• Personally respond to your emails and letters.
• Hold regular meetings, events, town halls, and pop-up constituency offices in our community.
